Wonderful experience. This is a bit of a different style than Peter Chang's other restaurants as it's Chinese "tapas" style but it's a welcome change and a nice way to sample many different dishes. Food was delicious with incredible depth of flavor and a reasonable size for being tapas style. We also tried the half roast duck and it was perfect.
The food here is something else! Refreshing, fresh and something new around the Gaithersburg area! Garlic cucumber salad is fresh and light! Flavorful! Sautéed cabbage delicious! Best item we ordered was the Chongqing dry-fried red pepper chicken is yummy! Crispy, spicy ( mild) and flavorful. Taiwanese fried chicken is one of my favorite as well but they don’t give a lot! Tapas size. Honey walnut shrimp is also pretty good! Sichuan popcorn chicken was something also tasty!
I had a very good dining experience at this new Peter Chang restaurant in Gaithersburg. The food served here was delicious and very similar to Mama Chang in Fairfax. Most of the dishes were small and shareable plates. The staff were friendly and helpful. They reminded us how to best have the hot chili oil noodles.
